I build software around problems I've lived through.

Most broken processes aren't caused by bad intentions, but by unhandled edge cases in how people coordinate. I take tangled operational workflows and engineer software systems that make them deterministic.

How Problems Become Systems

01 → 05
01

Real Problem

Manual bottlenecks, broken communication, unmanaged spreadsheets.

02

Understand

Uncovering the actual human habits and organizational incentives.

03

Design

Clean data contracts, deterministic state models, typed APIs.

04

Build

Full-stack software with Next.js, TypeScript, and resilient storage.

05

Improve

Observing production usage, pruning friction, continuous refinement.

“The best systems aren't just lines of code. They understand the messy human reality behind the process.”

Current Working State

Live snapshot of documented problems, active builds, and lab prototypes.

Field Grounding & Context

Problems I've Encountered

I don't build software because software is interesting. I build it because operational friction, broken spreadsheet models, and manual reconciliations waste human potential.

Fleet & Logistics Operations

Fleet Operations & Trip Reconciliation

Working around real operations exposed recurring friction across drivers, vehicles, rental/lease arrangements, traffic fines, payments, contracts, attendance/workforce administration, operational records, and reconciliation.

Workforce Governance & Statutory Compliance

Manual tracking of residency renewals, statutory leave settlements, and Article 54 gratuity calculations on disconnected spreadsheets, resulting in emergency filings and compliance risk.

Editorial Lock-in & CMS Fragility

Heavy legacy CMS architectures suffer from database bloat, security vulnerabilities, and brittle styling plugins. Meanwhile, pure developer headless setups isolate non-technical editors.

One problem became a system

OpsLedger

I didn't start with the idea of building an operations platform.

I started with problems I kept encountering while working around real business operations at Al Arab Limousine and Keystar.

When the same friction keeps appearing—shift handovers, cash disputes, unallocated traffic fines, and statutory payroll deadlines—I start asking a different question: Could this be a system instead of another manual process?

That's where OpsLedger began.

Working Principles

How I Think About Systems

Observations developed from sitting inside real operations, managing daily workflows, and engineering software to eliminate friction.

01

Understand the human friction before writing software

Most operational breakdowns are not caused by technical limitations, but by unhandled edge cases in how people coordinate. If you do not understand the daily habits, paper handovers, and informal shortcuts behind a process, any software you build will be rejected.

02

A business cannot scale on unversioned spreadsheets and chat groups

Spreadsheets and messaging apps are easy to start with, but they create silent failures: overwritten numbers, untracked cash, missing accountability, and lost history. Replacing the single most dangerous spreadsheet with a purpose-built web tool restores operational clarity.

03

Prefer deterministic workflows over heroic manual effort

Relying on a person to remember a complex 15-step compliance filing or reconciliation at the end of a busy week is an invitation to error. A good system makes the correct path the easiest path, enforcing validation rules and predictable state transitions.

04

Design for the person operating at the end of a long shift

Software for operations must respect real-world fatigue. If an interface takes more than a minute to complete or requires navigating five nested menus, people will bypass it. Clean layouts and fast data entry are not aesthetic luxuries; they determine whether the system is actually used.

Qatar Labor Law Article 54 Calculator

Launch tool

A verified calculation engine modeling statutory End of Service Benefits (EOSB) under Qatar Labor Law No. 14 of 2004. Accurately evaluates the 1-year service threshold, excludes non-basic allowances, and computes 21-day wage accrual for workforce settlements.

Active

Cash Difference Calculator

A rapid reconciliation micro-tool to balance cash registers, safe deposits, and courier collections against digital pos audit slips in seconds.

Active

Invoice Delay Calculator

Calculates the real capital drag and opportunity cost of overdue client receivables on your company operating runway and cash flow.

Beta

Qatar Labor Salary & Gratuity Calculator

Accurate Qatar Wage Protection System (WPS) breakdown, leave salary compensation, and End of Service Benefits (EOSB) calculator.

The Gulf Chapter Begins

Moved to Qatar, embracing a high-tempo international business environment. Adapted rapidly to regional commercial practices, multinational team cultures, and localized market demands.

Cognitive Shift (What Changed In My Thinking)

Discovered that software doesn't run in a vacuum. It lives inside multinational human teams with disparate incentives and strict local commercial laws.

Business Operations & Fleet Leadership

Stepped into hands-on corporate management, taking direct operational responsibility across Al Arab Limousine and Keystar. Managed fleet leasing, driver shift handovers, maintenance schedules, traffic fine allocations, and Ministry of Labour WPS payroll compliance.

Cognitive Shift (What Changed In My Thinking)

Realized the universal truth: the hardest part of software is not syntax or frameworks, but modeling human and operational reality without losing edge cases.

Building FOOAV & Client Ecosystems

Founded FOOAV initiatives to build high-performance web systems, custom e-commerce engines, and tailor-made internal tools for regional companies.

Cognitive Shift (What Changed In My Thinking)

Shifted from building "features" to engineering deterministic workflows. If software requires constant manual explanation, the model is wrong.
